All 11th grade students will be taking the MME/ACT test on Tuesday, March 9th, Wednesday, March 10th, and Thursday, March 11th.

The MME is the Michigan required exam, similar to the MEAP that students take in grades 3-9. The ACT portion of the test is a college, university, trade school, and military entrance exam.

These exams are timed so any practice that your students can get at home between now and March would be very helpful! You can search for ACT test prep tools online.

There are also VERY strict rules with these exams, for example how far apart students must sit, no food or drinks, no music, they can't get out of their seats, they can't lay their heads down, etc. We have prepped the students as best as possible by setting up our Plan/Explore tests in this same format for the past couple of years. (Students take the Plan/Explore in 8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th grade at Landmark).

Standardized tests can be easily compromised, therefore all other students (6th grade-10th grade) will be out of the building on these testing days.

Due to the rigid testing protocol, the 6th-10th grade students have the day off on Tuesday and Wednesday (3/9 and 3/10). We have staff professional development days back to back. The 11th grade students will be coming in to take their MME/ACT tests that are required for the day, then they will have the rest of the day off. (More details to come).

On Thursday (3/11) our 6th-10th graders will all be taking field trips in the morning and will be returning to school in the afternoon. The 11th grade students will be coming in to take the last portion of the ACT/MME then will be able to have the second half of the day off.

All portions of the test will be taken at Landmark Academy in our auditorium. A more detailed schedule with times will be handed out as we get closer to the testing date. Please make sure students are well rested, have a good breakfast, and are here early on testing days. If they are late, they CANNOT take the test. All rules and testing dates/times are the same for the entire state of MI.
