Saginaw Valley State University
Landmark Academy is chartered by Saginaw Valley State University (SVSU), which authorizes and oversees our school. That partnership gives every eligible Landmark graduate a direct path to a scholarship at SVSU through the Public School Academy (PSA) Scholar Program.
What Does It Mean to Be Authorized by SVSU?
As our authorizing body, SVSU sets and enforces the terms of our charter contract and continuously monitors Landmark Academy for compliance with state and federal regulations, holding our board of directors to a high standard on behalf of every family we serve. That oversight is part of what makes Landmark Academy a public school in good standing — tuition-free, open to all students, and accountable to the same state requirements as any Michigan public school.
The PSA Scholar Program
Since 2003, SVSU’s Cardinal Partnership Program has offered the Public School Academy (PSA) Scholarship to make college accessible and affordable for graduates of its authorized academies — including Landmark Academy.
A 4-Year Renewable Scholarship
Eligible high school seniors who graduate from an SVSU-authorized academy and are admissible to SVSU can receive a renewable scholarship for up to four years.
Straightforward Eligibility
Graduate from a qualifying SVSU-authorized academy, meet the GPA requirement, and be accepted to SVSU — the details and full qualification checklist are on The Cardinal Partnership Program website.
